I am a Christian resident of West Volusia for 19 years now and I have been a Deputy Sheriff in Seminole County since 1991.  I have received my Bachelors in Business Administration and my Masters in Strategic Leadership.  Being a Sheriff is running a business, and the citizens, YOU are the shareholders of this business!

I will bring the highest level of public safety and public service through the enhancement of crime prevention programs such as: domestic violence, teen diversion and truancy, seniors programs, gangs and child pornography programs.  I will bring multi-agency task forces and volunteer programs and restore public safety, public trust and reduce crime and the fear of crime in Volusia County.

As Sheriff of Volusia County my first priority is to have an audit of the Sheriff’s Department. We must look at the way the money is being spent and utilize the funds to maintain a modern and professional Sheriff’s Office that will be staffed by well trained and qualified personal providing the services required and needed by the citizens and businesses of Volusia County.

When elected I will focus on Volusia County’s long term vision, developing partnerships with local law enforcement agencies and policy changes that will break down obstacles and make Volusia County a better place to live and work.  By working together with local law enforcement agencies and citizens we can maintain the peace, safety, and security for the citizens and businesses, thus reducing crime and the fear of crime.
